Boxer Donnelly lands fifth Ulster senior title

Steven Donnelly landed the fifth Ulster senior title of his boxing career on Friday night.

The All Saints boxer retained his welterweight crown by beating Holy Trinity’s Conor Doherty in the finals night of the Unite-sponsored Ulster Elite Championships at the Europa Hotel.

Winning the title now puts Donnelly in a strong position to be selected for the Northern Ireland team for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
