Fifty years of All Saints Boxing Club ‘brought to book’
AN eagerly-awaited book marking the 50th anniversary of one of Ballymena’s most successful sporting organisations will be launched on Friday night.
Former Newsletter journalist and boxing correspondent Denis O’Hara is the man responsible for the publication, which marks the golden jubilee of All Saints Boxing Club.
The book, which features a history of the Cushendall Road Club, along with contributions by great names from the past, will be launched at All Saints Parish Centre.
Among the guests at the launch will be Mayor of Ballymena, Councillor Hubert Nicholl.
