“The tournament regularly attracts entrants from all parts of the province,” explains tournament secretary Richard Rodgers.

Last year Raymond Stubbs, Ballinderry BC emerged from a field of 190 players to win the tournament, beating Antrim IBC’s Darren McCullough in the final”.

This year the format for the tournament will be slightly different in that 4 mats will be in operation with a maximum entry of 32 players per night with the aim being to avoid any late night finishes. Two sections will be running with one winner from each section going forward to finals night”.

“Again this year we are supporting the McMillan Cancer charity as we have done now for the past number of years in the process raising hundreds of pounds thanks to the generosity of all either taking part or spectating”.
