Busy week ahead for Braid bowlers

IT is now coming up to the ‘sharp’ end of the season and there are lots of vital games ahead for Ballymena teams.

Tonight (Tuesday) Ballymena Seniors travel to Pickie in their quest to regain the NIPGL Senior League Division 1.

On Thursday night they entertain 2nd placed Belmont and then on Saturday the Seniors are at home to Ulster Transport and this run of games will have a major bearing in deciding where the league title will go this year.

Ballymena Juniors travel to Ulster Transport next Saturday looking for another victory to cement their position at the summit of the NIPGL Junior League Division 1.

Shorts are the visitors to the Old Ballymoney Road green where Ballymena Senior Park will be looking for a victory to keep them in the top half of the NIPGL Senior Divison 3.

Ballymena Ladies are in Cup action on Monday when they travel to Ballymoney and then on Wednesday they are also on their travels when they visit Magherafelt knowing that victory is vital to keep them in contention for the PTWBA Senior League.

Finally Ballymena Midweek travel to Bangor on Wednesday night looking to climb back in to the top half of the NIPGL Midweek League Divison 1 with a victory against Pickie.
