Cambridge House set for tough Schools’ Cup test

Cambridge House face a tough baptism as they begin their Danske Bank Schools’ Cup campaign on Saturday.

The Galgorm Road side are likely to be underdogs when they travel to Grosvenor Grammar (11am).

Team coach, Rab Gregg, has worked very hard with a limited number of players to maintain a Schools’ Cup presence in the school.

They are building the game up in the lower school but it will be a year or two before this will be seen effectively at senior level.

Cambridge have picked up a number of positive results in the course of the current season.

But it will be a big ask for skipper Chris Da Mata and his team mates if they are to get beyond the opening hurdle.
