Charity darts and pool competition a big success

THERE was no competitive darts action as the Ballymena, Harryville and District Darts League enjoyed a break on Friday night, but on Saturday, Ladysmith Arrows held a successful charity competition for the Make A Wish Foundation.

A fantastic turnout enjoyed darts and pool competitions organised to raise funds for a very worthy cause.

The Ladies of the Ladysmith Arrows Team wish to thank all who took part and are pleased to announce that so far, £500 has been collected.

FIXTURES

There will be no league action this Friday night, March 2, with the Simpson Pairs taking centre stage.

All teams from both Divisions One and Two must be in the Ballymena United Sports and Social Club to register by 8.20pm.

The draw will be made on Friday and any teams wishing to register in advance can do so by contacting league secretary Davy Wilson by phone (07412241715) or e-mail [email protected]

LEAGUE MEETING

The next meeting of the BHDDL will be held this coming Monday, March 5, at 8.25pm in the Social Club.
