Clady anglers prepare for new season
Clady & District Angling club recently held its AGM in the Hawthorne Inn, Portglenone.
The out going chairman and committee was re-elected.
Chairman Frank McGill welcomed special guests Robbie Marshall and Jim Haughey of the UAF and Gary Lavery Angling NI Clubs coordinator. Robbie and Gary gave short talks on work they are currently involved with.
As the new season approaches we would like to make anyone with an interest in buying or selling fishing tackle aware that the club are holding a Fishing Tackle Auction on Saturday 20th January in the Hawthorn Inn Portglenone doors open at 8.30am for booking in items, auction commences 10.30am.
2016 season club permits will be issued on Saturdays February 27 and March 5, 10am-1pm from the club house with the first fishing competition of the season also being held on March 5 (11am).
