Fit N Running enjoy Antrim Active Run

FIT N RUNNING had three athletes in action on Friday evening at the inaugural Antrim active run staged at the Antrim forum.

First of the group to finish was Mark McKinstry in 19th place in 35mins 19th secs just pipping his club mate James Wallace by one second and one place.

Also in action was Peter Drennan who finished 36th in 40mins 22 secs.

ECOS PARKRUN

Fourteen year old Conor McQuillan won the Ecos Parkrun on Saturday morning setting a 32 sec personal best and breaking his own junior course record in the process. Conor crossed the line in 18 mins 53 secs.

Also in action at the Ecos was Andrew Sands who finished in 46th place in 28mins 20 secs.

CLUB TRAINING

Fit N Running are based at the Michelin Athletic Club in Ballymena. They train on Tuesday evenings at 6.15pm. There is also a session on Saturday mornings at 915am. The club cater for the full range of runners from beginners, juniors though to intermediate and advanced athletes.
