BSML round-up: Saints turn screw in difficult week for Carniny
ALL Saints Old Boys showed no mercy to Carniny Rangers at the end of a hugely difficult week for Robert Young’s side.
Fresh from their withdrawal from next week’s County Antrim Junior Shield final, Carniny were eight minutes away from an unprecedented second successive league defeat at the hands of the team in the best position to end Carniny’s run of six straight league titles.
However, Chris Dowie’s goal rescued a point in a thrilling 3-3 draw which keeps the Tower Blinds-sponsored Division One title race wide open.
