Carniny U-12s enjoy Night at Races

Carniny Youth Under 12s enjoyed a good night’s craic at their Night at the Races event at Michelin Athletic club on Saturday night.

Up for grabs on the night in a raffle were a Sir Alex Ferguson autographed Manchester United Shirt as well as a Liverpool shirt autographed by Liverpool legend, Alan Kennedy.

The team were raising funds for their appearance at the 2013 Foyle Cup in July.

The boys are looking forward to the experience where they have been drawn against Hearts, Limavady United and South Donegal Schoolboys in the group stages.

FDC PRIZE NIGHT

The club will be hosting another Prize Giving night, this time on Thursday 20th June at the Michelin Athletic Club, Woodside Road, Ballymena.

This night will be for the club’s Football Development and Under 9s.

Proceedings get under way at 7pm. Tickets will be available from Davy Boyd shortly.
