Carniny Youth FC round-up: Under-14s in seventh heaven

CARNINY Youth under-14s enjoyed their second local derby win of the season on Saturday when they ran out 7-2 winners against Northend United.

The match at Smithfield was naturally watched by a large local crowd and the win saw the ‘Ballymena Reds’ open a gap between their two local rivals in the National league.

Meanwhile up in the North West the Under 9s went on a goal frenzy scoring nine goals with only one in reply, the Under 10s were not as lucky when late goals in their game meant defeat for the young guns.
