Carniny Youth FC’s youngsters are looking forward to spending an evening with Gareth Barry later in the year.
The Premiership Midfielder, currently playing for Everton is the cousin of Carniny Amateur and Youth FC Chairman, Lee Barry.
On a recent trip to Goodison park, Gareth, the former Man City and Aston Villa star has made a promise to be the guest of honour at one of Carniny’s end of season functions.
Gareth, a former England International with 53 caps is currently third in the all time Premiership Appearances table with almost 600 appearances, just behind Ryan Giggs and Frank Lampard. His visit to the club will be a great boost for all the young players at Carniny.

The 2008s will play on Friday night at the Showgrounds whilst the 2007s will be back in action on the Saturday Morning slot also at the Showgrounds.
