Coaching for kids starts next month

FOLLOWING on from the very successful summer camp held at Ballymena Showgrounds during August, the Irish Football Association will be delivering an eight-week programme of coaching for 6-11-year-old boys and girls next month.

The event will be held at the Showgrounds 3G facility beginning on Friday, October 7, from 4.30-6pm, at a cost of £25.

Registration will be held at Ballymena showgrounds reception on Fridays September 23 and 30 between 4-6pm, or alternatively contact IFA Grassroots Development Officer Wesley Gregg on 07802 327594 or e-mail [email protected]

The format of the programme will be focus on small-sided games aspect of football where the children will be introduced to games involving 5v5 and 7v7 with coaches from the IFA/DENI Programme on hand to deliver age specific coaching.
