Cup final tickets finally go on sale this week

Ballymena United supporters will belatedly get their hands on their Irish Cup final tickets this week.

The Irish Football Association has advised the club that due to a printing error, coupled with the Easter holidays, the tickets for the May 3 showdwon with Glenavon won’t be available for sale until this Thursday.

Tickets, priced at £15 for adults (£8 concessions), are on sale from the following outlets:

Tickets will also be on sale at the Showgrounds on: Thursday April 24 (7pm-9pm); Saturday April 26 (vs Ards, 2pm-5pm); Tuesday April 29 (7pm-9pm); Thursday May 1 (7pm-9pm).

Meanwhile, United manager is likely to give a final run-out to his cup final panel in today’s (Tuesday) penultimate Danske Bank Premiership game at Warrenpoint Town (kick-off 2.35pm).

Johnny Taylor, Aaron Stewart and Gary Thompson, who each played an hour for the Reserves on their comeback from injuries at the weekend, are likely to figure before Ferguson rests key players for this Saturday’s final game at home to Ards (3pm).
