They have agreed to be the main sponsor of the club’s ‘small sided’ teams at a presentation recently at the Ballymena restaurant when playing kits were given to the younger teams.

Club treasurer Davy Boyd who attended the event said; “We are very grateful to Frankie & Benny’s for their generosity in helping promote youth football in the Ballymena area.”

The national chain is relatively new to the Ballymena area and after meeting with club secretary, Billy O’Flaherty were more than willing not only to agree sponsorship of playing kits but also other ways of supporting the club.

The club’s younger members within the Football Development Centre held their end of season ‘do’ at the premises which was a real treat for children and parents alike!

Davy went on to say: “Sponsorship is becoming more and more difficult to obtain and we are delighted that a large national firm such as Frankie & Benny’s takes an interest in the local community.”
