Wakehurst's troubled season hit a new low on Saturday as they suffered their heaviest defeat of the campaign in a 7-1 reverse at Sport & Leisure Swifts.
Andy Laughlin’s goal provided the only bright spot for Wakehurst on a miserable afternoon in west Belfast.
It leaves Wakehurst some 18 points from safety with only 21 left to play for, meaning that the Ballymena side’s relegation from Championship Two could be all but rubber-stamped this weekend if they lose to Coagh.
