Homers’ Junior Cup bid ends in gallant failure
HARRYVILLE Homers’ hopes of a history-making Coca-Cola Irish Junior Cup triumph ended in gallant failure on Monday.
Robert Duddy’s were beaten 3-0 by defending champions Strathroy Harps in the final, at Mill Meadow, Castledawson.
Three second half goals put paid to Homers’ hopes of being the first Saturday Morning League side to win the biggest accolade in junior football in Northern Ireland.
