JTI off bottom of Division One

TWO rearranged Ballymena and District matches were played last week, in a week where League Cup and Plate action took centre stage.

In Division One, JTI moved off the bottom of the table by taking fve points against fellow strugglers Moneyglass.

The rinks skipped by Len McIlroy, Timothy Rock and Billy Lynn all won with plenty to spare, while Brian Russell's foursome produced a fine comeback to defeat Henry Marron 12-10 and clinch all the points.
