Life membership for United stalwarts

The unstinting work of two long-serving Ballymena United officials has been recognised by the club.
Former Ballymena United chairman Robert Cupples and vice-chairman Maurice Smyth were presented with life membership of the club at a function last week. At a special dinner last week in the Rosspark Hotel, Robert Cupples and Maurice Smyth were presented with life membership of the club.

The function was held to celebrate their combined 60 years of service to the Football Club, and to mark their retirement from the position of chairman and vice chairman respectively.

Both were delighted to receive the honour in front of the current board and management committee members.
