NI Cup glory for United U-11s

BALLYMENA United under-11s grabbed Northern Ireland cup glory on Monday - in the most dramatic of circumstances.

The Sky Blue youngsters beat Glentoran on penalties in the NIBFA Cup final, played on the 3G pitch at Ballymena Showgrounds.

Ballymena had twice led through Matthew Lorimer but were pegged back by their east Belfast opponents.

After extra-time failed to break the deadlock, the game went to penalties, with United keeper William Crockard saving two Glens spot kicks.
