Northend teams prepare for return after Easter break

All of the Northend United Youth FC teams took a well earned break this weekend over the Easter holiday period but the Lisburn League teams are back in action this Saturday.

The U11s, U12s, U13s, U14s, U16s and U17s are looking forward to the League run-in. This is followed up by a series of midweek matches over the next few weeks.

The Club’s younger teams also get back to action this weekend with the resumption of the North West and Coleraine District League and the U9s, U10s and U12s Youth teams will be looking for a few good results in the run-in to the end of their season.

With the Club fielding no less than seven teams at the Irish FA organised U8 and U9 small sided games at the Showgrounds, they are all looking forward to getting back into action on Friday 1st April for the U8s and Saturday 2nd April for the U9s

LARNE SOCCER SEVENS

Northend United Youth had no less than eight teams playing in the Larne Soccer Sevens competition on Easter Monday, ranging in age from 2008s up to and including the 2002s, reflecting the tremendous growth in the younger teams at Northend.

AWARDS NIGHTS

With the season drawing to a close, an important date for your diary is the end-of-season Northend United Youth FC Awards Nights. The Junior Awards Night for the U8s, U9s, U10s and U11s will be held on Friday 27th May at the Michelin Club.

The Senior Awards Night for the U12s, U13s, U14s, U15s, U16s and U17s will also be held at the Michelin Club on Thursday 26th May.

COACHING PATHWAY

This is an exciting period for our Club following our link with the Blackburn Rovers Community Trust and we are on the lookout for new talented coaches to join us on our journey to coaching excellence.
