Northend United Youth FC round-up: National League heartbreak for U-16s

IN the National League, the U16s travelled to Limavady on Friday night for a floodlight match and again were unlucky not to come away with a share of the points when the match ended up 3-2 to Limavady.

Losing narrowly was the theme of the weekend in the National League when the U14s conceded two late goals against Warrenpoint at Mallusk to lose the match 2-1.

In the Belfast and East Antrim League, the U13s lost their Knock-Out Cup match against League Leaders St. Andrews at Dunfane on Saturday in a match where the Blues missed numerous chances to easily win this match with room to spare.

The U12s had a free weekend but return to action next week with a league match against Ballyclare Colts Comrades.
