THE Adair Arms Hotel in Ballymena was full to capacity on Saturday evening as Carniny Amateur and Youth Football Club celebrated their ten year anniversary in style at a formal event.

Guest of honour was former Manchester United and Northern Ireland legend, Harry Gregg who entertained the large audience, along with Grant Cameron from the BBC.

Welcome guests on the evening were councillors and officials from Ballymena Borough Council, members of the committee of Ballymena United FC, Club Director of Football Jim Hagan, Club Development Officer Bob Mullan, former boxing world champion Eamon Loughran and Ian Shiels and Billy McIlroy from Ballymena and Provincial Football League.

An auction of various items followed by a draw raised quite a sum for club funds and the club would wish to thank the following for their kind donation of items: Umbro, Dyson, Ballymena United, IFA, Magee's Clothing, Davy King, Ina Black, Ian McIlveen and the Adair Arms Hotel.

It certainly was an evening to remember which was expertly managed by Master of Ceremonies, Derek Ewing who ensured the night passed off like clockwork.
