The Sky Blues head to Mourneview Park (7.45pm) for a league game rearranged from Easter Tuesday when it was postponed due to Glenavon having two players in the Northern Ireland under-21 panel.

“I watched Glenavon in the Irish Cup semi-final on Friday night and they were very impressive to come back on three occasions from a goal down,” said Jeffrey.

“Kevin Braniff is a finisher supreme, they will be on an absolute high and they are hungry for points.

“We have to go and be at our very best again to get something out of the game and we have to ask the players to rise again to the challenge. We have five points out of nine but after being on a losing streak of five defeats - it shows that belief and attitude are very powerful things.

“It’s maybe going to be more difficult for our supporters to get down there on a Tuesday night but I do hope they come in numbers.”

Jeffrey will be without the suspended Gavin Taggart, while Eoin Kane is unavailable because of work commitments, but David Cushley is available after suspension.
