Prize time for Carniny Amateurs FC

CARNINY Amateurs FC, the senior team of Carniny Youth FC, held their annual prizegiving in the Countryman Inn recently.

The Amateurs enjoyed a fine debut season at intermediate level in the Ballymena & Provincial Intermediate League, while the Seconds gained promotion to Division Two of the Ballymena & Provincial Junior League.

The respective prizewinners for the two sides were:

Leading Goal Scorer: Runner up- Ryan Wilkinson; Winner - Dean Magill.

Players’ Player of the Year: Runner Up - Ciaran McGarry; Winner- Alan Montgomery.

Manager’s Player of the Year: Runner Up - Jordan Graham, Winner - Ciaran McGarry.

Clubman of the Year: Barry Hamill.

Sportsman: Daryl Reid.

Leading Goal Scorer: Runner up - Dean Surgenor, Winner - Kevin Coogan.

Players’ Player of the Year: Runner Up - Kevin Coogan, Winner - Matthew O’Flaherty.

Manager’s Player of the Year: Runner Up - Peter Adams, Winner- Dean Adams.

At the Annual BPIL awards dinner the club also picked up a few awards; Kevin Coogan was the runner up in the Junior Division 3 Player of the year award.

Dean Adams was runner up in the Junior Division 3 Young player of the year award.

Gordon Dillon also picked up runner up in the Intermediate Young player of the year award.
