The CAFRE campus at Greenmount is the venue for an international football tournament this week.
Club NI, the Irish FA’s elite development programme, is organising the four-team event which kicks off on Thursday and runs until Sunday.
Everton, Rangers and Toulouse will be battling it out with Club NI in the Under-14 International Cup, which is sponsored by Simply Fruit.
It all kicks off at 7pm on Thursday with Club NI facing top French side Toulouse, while Rangers will take on Toulouse on Friday evening at 7.00.
Club NI then face the Scots on Saturday morning at 9.30 before Rangers are in action again that afternoon against Everton (2.30).
Everton will also have two games on Saturday as they face Toulouse that evening (7.00).
The final game of the tournament takes place on Sunday afternoon when the Liverpudlian outfit take on Club NI. Kick-off is at 3.30.
Club NI aims to prepare young players here for the professional game and ultimately represent Northern Ireland at senior international level. The team competing at Greenmount is made up of players from across the country.
Jim Magilton, the Irish FA’s elite performance director, said: “This tournament will be a stiff test for our boys as they come up against three club sides who traditionally have strong youth teams.
“I am sure any spectators going along to Greenmount will be treated to action-packed, entertaining games featuring lots of talented young players.”
Admission is only £5 for a day pass or £10 for a tournament pass. A children’s tournament pass is also available for £5, while admission per game is £5. Spectators can pay at the gate.
