Saturday Morning League round-up: Homers closing in on league title

HARRYVILLE Homers are following manager Robert Duddy’s instructions to the letter as they close in on a first Ballymena Saturday Morning League title for a number of years.

Duddy had told his men to forget about their forthcoming Coca-Cola Junior Cup final and focus on matters closer to home in the meantime.

And they certainly did that in style at the weekend as they thrashed defending champions All Saints Old Boys 4-0.

Carniny Rangers, Homers’ perennial nemesis in recent seasons continue to chase the Harryville side but they are still five points adrift with a game more played.
