Southside duo impress Liverpool coaches

Goalkeeper Lewis Erwin and club captain Jonathan Logan attended the 3 day coaching academy with Liverpool Fc coaches. Both boys were commended for their attitude and ability.

Lewis having only joined the club late last season was outstanding during the 3 days and club captain Jonny won the penalty kick shootout on the final day.

Meanwhile, Southside has been training three times per week ahead of the start of their season on September 3.

The Ballymena side have added to their panel with the signings of Dylan Hamill and Jordan Kirk, both of whom have played in the league before, and they will be hoping to help Southside improve upon their fourth place finish last season.

The club has appointed a new club captain in Jonathan Logan, with Dylan Graham taking up the role of Vice Captain. Pre season games are now coming thick and fast as the team look to try different options before the league begins. These begin with Moyola at the Showgrounds this Saturday, August (10am) and over the next 10 days the team will play 5 games.
