United Academy sides continue to chase silverware

AS the season draws to a close,the United Youth Academy sides continued to impress last week as they continued their chase for silverware.

The under 10s have TWO cup finals to look forward to, the 15s scored nine goals without reply against Donegal Celtic and Portadown in two brilliant displays and the 13s prepared for their League cup semi final with another two victories.

The under 12s capped a successful weekend in Rotterdam over Easter with a third place finish and won the plate competition.

The whole weekend was a memorable experience for all the boys who travelled as they faced five quality Dutch opponents and did the club proud.

Special mention to midfielder of the tournament Lee O’Brien and his colleague Kyle Apsley named defender of weekend, another great fillip for the “Wee Sky Blues”.
