“I thought the performance was good,” said the Sky Blues boss.

“In certain aspects we matched Cliftonville for large parts of the game and one decisive moment has taken the points away from us.

“We had probably the two best chances of the game before Cliftonville scored and if they had gone in, it’s a completely different scenario.

Ferguson also looks ahead to this Saturday’s crunch Irish Cup quarter-final at Harland & Wolff Welders.
