Ballymena United skipper Allan Jenkins admits he is desperate to end the club’s recent run of poor results against rivals Coleraine in Saturday’s ‘derby’ at the Warden Street Showgrounds.
The Scot has yet to taste victory in the fixture, with Coleraine having won the last EIGHT meetings between the sides.
Speaking after scoring United’s first goal in Tuesday night’s 3-0 League Cup victory over Ballinamallard, Jenkins says it is the Sky Blues gave their fans “something to be proud of” in matches aginst their fiercest rivals.
