Fountain Bar reverse defeat by clubmates in cup

Three weeks ago Arrows defeated their clubmates Fountain Bar in a Division Two match in the Ballymena, Harryville and District Darts League.

This week, however, the roles were reversed as Fountain Bar eliminated Arrows from the MS Cup.

Meanwhile, in Gallaher Division One, champions-elect Bowling Club were pushed all the way by Towers Tavern and the level that Bowling had to go to to ensure victory was illustrated by a 14-dart leg from international star Geoff Wylie, the best of the week.

Trevor Turtle (Diamond) had the best finish this week with a 127 checkout, followed by Rodney Thompson (Social Club) with a 115.

John Stewart (BT/PO), Sammy Balmer (Social) and Geoff Matthews (Bowling) all hit 180s.
