Glen strikes gold for Braid ABC

The St Louis Grammar School pupil won gold at the recent Ulster novice championships held in Coalisland.

He is now training in preparation for the Ulster open championships.

“Glen has been training with the Braid club for two years, he is progressing at a steady pace and is an excellent club man,” said Braid head coach John McLeister.

“ Glen will be showing his skills in an upcoming exhibition to be held in ballymena town centre over the next few weeks.

“We hope to display a few of our boxers to the community to showcase the excellent work that is carried out at Braid ABC promoting sport in the community,” added John.
