McCreight scored six pars, five bogeys, a double bogey and a birdie on the 10th which was worth four points on its own.

Category one was won by John A Jamieson (5) who played the course in one under par gross, which equated to 31 points.

Gordon Bell (11) had the top score in category two, after accumulating 32 points from 11 pars and two bogeys.

Category three saw Millar eagleson (16) secure the win with 30 points, despite having been four over after the opening three holes.

William Andrews (24) had the best total in category four with 32 points, which included a non-score on the par four 11th but against that, William had a birdie on the sixth and with two shots on handicap, it was worth five points alone.

The best gross card came from John Robinson (2) who played the course in three under 47 shots, which included five birdies.

A new trophy was donated by club members who played on Sunday mornings with Clifford Law, who passed away last year.
