Blind golfer Drew seeks new guide

The Pinegrove man’s regular guide Warren Stewart is taking some time out from his role this year, leaving Drew requiring someone to act as his ‘eyes’ on the course.

“A guide lines up the shots for me to hit them and also lines up the putts on the green - I’d be lost without one,” explained Drew.

“You don’t need to have any qualifications as such - I’m looking for someone with an interest in golf who could spare a bit of time during the week for me to get out and play nine holes of practice.”

With Drew having trips to golfing events in Canada and Italy amongst others planned for this year, he is keen to get a new guide secured as quickly as possible.
