Refurbished driving range opens at Galgorm Castle

IF you’ve ever fancied having a swing like world number one Rory McIlroy, Galgorm Castle Golf Club’s newly refurbished driving range is the place to practise.

The floodlit driving range, which was offocially re-opend by the club’s EuroPro Tour professionals Liam Reilly and Dave Kernohan last week, consists of 18 covered bays and 6 uncovered.

The range uses one-piece srixon range balls and offers fully automated teeing and quality mats giving the golfer a true impression of flight.

The comprehensive facility also provides a dedicated short game area.

The relaxed, modern and fresh facilities are available to everyone and there is no dress code in operation at the driving range.

Clubs are available for those without; with no charge to hire the equipment.

With golf currently on a high it is your time to join in the fun. Golf is a game for all ages and can be enjoyed by all the family and friends, everyone is welcome.

A bucket of 40 balls costs £3; two buckets cost £5.30; and five baskets are just £12.50.

Opening hours for the range until March 31 are 8am-8pm Monday to Friday and 8am-6pm on Saturdays and SUndays.

From April 1, the range is open from 8am until 9pm Monday to Friday and from 8am until 7pm on Saturdays and SUndays.
