The Saturday sweep at Ballymena Golf Club provided a sound return for Keith Richmond (10) where he posted a total of 33 stableford points for the 13-hole course.
He had the best final four hole total to edge Ryan Kenny into runner-up spot after he also recorded the same total.
Keith did not have the desired as he dropped a shot apiece in the first and second plus two shots on the third but by the time he got through the first nine holes, he had retrieved two of those shots on the fifth and ninth.
The 10th cost him two shots and he also dropped on the 11th but again he hit a purple patch when he birdied the 12th and 13th.
The fifth, ninth and 12th provided Keith with four points on each, which was an added bonus.
Runner-up Kenny (11) commenced his round with a trio of pars and they were followed by a dropped shot on the fourth and fifth plus a birdie on the sixth, then completed the first nine holes with three pars, giving Ryan a first nine hole total of 25 points. The final four holes saw him score three bogeys plus a par on the final hole which added another eight points to the total but he lost out over those last four holes.
Category one saw Paul Darragh (4) come out on top with 30 points from his round of level par gross. Paul’s round included four birdies.
Clifford Worthington (9) won category two with 31 points. Clifford began his round with six straight pars, dropped a shot on the seventh, and then completed the first nine holes with two more pars for 23 points.
Clifford scored a par on the 10th but then followed that up with double bogeys at 11 and 12 but he managed to retrieve a shot with a birdie on the final hole.
Category three saw Frank O’Boyle top the list with 31 points which came via eight pars, four bogeys and a double bogey at the eighth. Steven Bell (14) returned the top score in category four of 31 points.
