Fit N Running had 3 athletes in action on Sunday morning as they made the long journey to Dublin to complete in the Terenure 5 mile road race.
It proved to be a worthwhile journey as personal best times were recorded by two of the group.
On a picturesque course temperatures of 16° greeted the large turnout and Mark McKinstry was among the front runners as he recorded a best for the distance to finish 7th in 25mins 48secs.
Conor Shiels clipped a massive 3 mins off his previous best to finish in 29mins 29 secs taking 52nd place.
Colin Apperley was 85th place just outside his best for the distance in a time of 30mins 42secs.
