Ireland rugby coach Joe Schmidt has a dinner date in Ballymena later this year.
The New Zealander will be the special guest at a fund-raising event organised by Ballymena Academy’s rugby section.
The function - entitled ‘An Evening in the Company of Joe Schmidt’ - will be held in the Great Hall, at Galgorm Resort and Spa on Friday, May 15.
Tickets are priced at £800 per table of 12 and anyone interested should contact Alistair McKay at the school or via e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
Schmidt is currently attempting to mastermind back-to-back Six Nations titles with Ireland, ahead of the men in green’s assault on World Cup glory later this year.
The event is the latest high-profile rugby-based function at the Galgorm Road school, which last week hosted a visit from the Six Nations Trophy and Triple Crown Plate.
On the field, the Academy travel to Sullivan Upper in the Subsidiary Shield quarter-final this Saturday.
