Ballymena Rugby Club brought the curtain down on its season with the club’s annual dinner and prize night recently.
Players and officials gathered for the annual social event, heald in the Eaton park clubrooms.
They reflected upon another busy and successful season throughout all levels and age groups within the club.
At First XV level, Andy Graham’s side made the transition to Division 1B of the All-Ireland League with ease and were on course for back-to-back promotions until their form tailed off in the latter part of the season.
Other highlights of the campaign included the Fifth XV retaining the Forster Cup, beating near neighbours Randalstown Seconds in the final at the Kingspan Stadium last month.
As well as looking back on the various teams’ campaigns, there were also the usual club awards for individual players and for players who went on to compete at a higher level.
It was a chance for the players, coaches and officials to unwind after a long, hard season and thoughts will already be turning to the 2015-16 campaign.
