For the first time since 1982 they have a title backer in JFM Haulage.

With that in mind, they have organised a pub quiz tomorrow night, Wednesday, in the Front Page in Ballymena.

The quiz starts at 7.30pm and the cost is £5 per person. There will, of course, also be a raffle during the evening.

Things are moving well now for the JFM Mid Antrim 150. They have announced that local man Tommy Gregg, a long time supporter of the Mid Antrim, has come on board with some valuable backing.

As Gregg’s Transport, he will sponsor the first Superbike race, while as Gregg’s Vivo, Clough, he will back the Man of the Meeting award.

Tommy said: “I’m delighted to see the Mid Antrim coming back to Clough. It’s a great meeting and it gives the village a great atmosphere for the few days that it’s on.”

Davy McCartney, new Clerk of the Course for the meeting said: “The members of the club are all working away hard to make sure that the JFM Mid Antrim 150 is going to be a success. It’s been an uphill struggle, but now thankfully, we are getting there and things seem to coming together for the 150.”
