National championships qualifiers this weekend

THE qualifiers for the Stonebridge-sponsored national championships will take place for the Mid Antrim zone this week with the competitions being played at Ballymena North, Cushendall Road.

Play will commence on Thursday night at 6.30 with the open triples followed by the ladies' singles commencing at 7.30pm.

Friday evening will see the open rinks starting at 6.30pm followed by the junior singles at 7.30pm with the ladies' pairs commencing at 9pm.

Saturday will see the open pairs being played with a 9.30am start followed by the open singles which will commence at 2pm with the last event this year being the over 55s which will commence at 6.30pm on the Saturday evening.

All secretaries who have players entered in the competitions are asked to remind the players of the starting times for these events.

Due to a lack of entries there will be no ladies' triples competition.
