North of Ireland strokeplay event returns to Galgorm

IT is now the turn of Ireland’s Top Amateurs to take on the challenge of Galgorm Castle only 12 weeks after the professionals battled it out on the Championship course.

The event will once again offer players the opportunity to qualify for Men’s World Amateur Golf Ranking Points and help them on their way to be world No: 1, following in the footsteps of Rory McIlroy who during his amateur days was the No: 1 amateur in the world.

The event is one of only two in Northern Ireland which currently qualify for World Amateur Ranking Points.
