Podium places for locals at Aghadowey
DRIVERS from the Ballymena area were once again among the podium finishers at the most recent meeting at Aghadowey Stock Car Stadium, on August 14.
Jason Smyth (Portglenone) was runner-up in both heats of the 1600 Lightning Rods, while Jerome Doherty (Ballymena) finished runner-up in the final in the same class.
In the Junior Stocks, Curtis Greer (Cullybackey) finished second in the second heat.
The next meeting at Aghadowey is this Friday evening, August 27, at 7.15pm.
