Sandra enjoys victory in Telford Cup

In the Telford Cup, Sandra Lennox took the honours thanks to a better back nine from runner-up, Frances O’Rawe, after both ladies recorded nett scores of 69 in the stroke competition.

Barbara Totten was the next winner, when her 39 points was enough to claim the Colleen Kerr Memorial Trophy, from second placed, Jennifer Eagleson, and third, Mary Kearney, who both accumulated 34 points in the stableford event.

Sandra Lennox’s good form continued when she and team-mates, Jennifer Eagleson and Arlene McCartney won the McAllisters Open Team event with a final score of 77, two clear of runners-up, Zandra Douglas, Roisin Quigley and Yvonne Fullerton.
