Schools' Trophy glory for Cambridge House

CAMBRIDGE House lifted the Northern Bank Schools Trophy for the first time on Monday - in the most thrilling of circumstances.

An injury time try by sub Mark Paine earned the Galgorm Road school a dramatic 15-14 win over Portadown College at Eaton Park.

Don't miss next Tuesday's Ballymena Times for reports, reaction and photos from the big match.

Still on schools' rugby, Ballymena Academy will today (Tuesday) make another attempt to play their Northern Bank Schools Cup quarter-final at home to Friends (2pm) after Saturday's match was called of due to a frozen pitch.

Again, full coverage of that game will appear in next Tuesday's paper.
