Social take first point of season off champions

SOCIAL Club became the first team this season to take a point off Bowling Club in the Ballymena, Harryville and District Darts League after a 4-4 draw on Friday night.

Elsewhere in Gallaher Division One, Diamond Bar came back from 3-0 down to draw 4-4 with BT/PO Club and maintain their hopes of finishing in runners-up position.

Richard Rainey fired the best leg of the week with a sizzling 13-darter, followed by: 19 - Ian Reynolds, Brian Elder, Davy McFall; 20 - Tony Kerr, Trevor Johnston, Richard Rainey, Derek Campbell, Tom Wallace, Geoff Matthews; 21 - Steven McIlroy, Leonard McKeggan, Frank McDowell, Mike Stubbs.

Willie Murphy (Horse and Jockey) had the best finish this week with a 106 checkout, followed by 100 & 72 Tony Kerr (Greenhills) & 100 Darren McAuley (Clough)

Steven Murphy (Coach) was the only player to hit a 180.
