Staffers regain winning form to clinch second division title

Social Staffers celebrate after winning the Ballymena, Harryville & District Darts League Division Two title.

Staffers had led the way for most of the season, only to wobble in recent weeks with successive defeats, but they clinched the crown with a crushing 7-1 win over Ladysmith Arrows in their last match.

Best individual performance this week was a 16-dart leg from Rodney Cubitt, followed by: 17 Stephen Haggen, 18s Paddy Coyles, Stevie McIlroy, David McFall, Geoffrey Matthews, John Elder, Geoff Wylie, 19s Paddy Coyles, Darnell McCrory, Roy Gilchrist, Cameron Horner, 20s Gabe Kerr, Rodney White, Darnell McCrory, Chris Greer, Joe Balmer, 21s Gabe Kerr, David McFall, Alan Bamford, Rodney Cubitt, John Greer, Cameron Horner, Dean Calderwood.

Jimmy Murphy (Fountain Arrows) had the best finish with a 112 checkout, followed by 104 David McFall (Drifters), 102 Gabe Kerr (Greenhills)

Neil Marshall (Fountain Arrows) was the only player to hit a 180.
