Tough times for Fourths

YET again Ballymena Fourths were up against it as a strong Academy Seconds side won at a canter by 29 points to five.

Ballymena did well in the first half but their makeshift side were no match for a well organised team like Academy.

They actually did well to hold them in the early stages and to turn round at the interval only 15 points behind was an achievement indeed.

In the second half Ballymena were first out of the blocks and pulled back a try through Gerard Bowes but then the steam ran out of a brave Ballymena side and Academy strolled to an easy victory adding another 14 points.
