Victories for Fountain Bar and Patton’s in darts league

The Ballymena, Harryville and District Darts League had a disruptive week with players attending the NI Open in Newry.

Two games from Division 2 survived, with Village Inn suffering defeat to Fountain Bar (Jack Russell 21 darts) despite a 111 finish from Darryl Reid; and Pattons overcoming Wanderers.

DIVISION TWO

Wanderers 3, Patton’s 5: Pattons continue to impress in their maiden season with their 3rd league win thanks to victories from Mervyn Gage (2-0), Chris Campbell (2-0), Chris McDonald (2-0), Brian Logan (2-0) and Jimmy Finlay (2-0).

Wanderers battled throughout with wins from Alistair Craig (2-0), Joe Balmer (2-1) and Davy Wilson (2-1).

Star player – Jimmy Finlay.

Fountain Bar 5, Village Inn 3: A close match throughout, scores tied right through to 3-3 before Fountain clinched the victory.

Village Inn had wins this week from Darryl Reid (2-0), David McFall (2-0) and James McKeown (2-1).

Fountain Bar claimed their win thanks to wins from George Foster (2-1), Jack Russell (2-1), Jonny Russell (2-1), Billy Montgomery (2-1) and James Greer (2-1).
